Well, i got a trial lesson, lasted around an hour or so which included having a go at the stick for a short while, just keeping it level and doing a few small turns and the like. I'd love to get my private pilots license one day, but it'l cost around £6000 in total so i i'll need to wait till after i graduate to consider it unfortunately.

Well I highly recommend you going for it then. That airshow I was at was amazing, learning to fly or even handling a plance would be even better.
